Ignoring their own reporting, NY Times and AP uncritically report Palin's "palling around with terrorists" claim
Summary: The New York Times and the AP uncritically repeated Gov. Sarah Palin's claim that Sen. Barack Obama was "palling around with terrorists," an apparent reference to Obama's association with former Weather Underground member William Ayers. Neither the Times nor the AP noted their previous reporting that Obama and Ayers were not close.

Gosh! They said Palin was lying the first time! What, are they supposed to point out that she's lying every single time they print one of her lies?

I think that everytime they bring up the fact that Obama was on a 'board' with Bill Ayers, we should remind them that McCain sat on the board for the U.S. Council for World Freedom, which is sponsored by a cult leader and has had members with Nazi ties.
It really sounds like McCain wants to play 'guilt by association'. Step right up, JSM III, you're the next contestant!!

Less than 3 weeks left - I have a novel idea for you rightwing nuts out there. The letter L - get used to it. Two things of importance start with that letter. The first is LOSER which is what those racists McBush and Failin are about to become. The second is LANDSLIDE which is what's about to happen to your sorry @sses. We are really gonna enjoy controlling all three houses with near fillibuster proof majorities!

Its odd that they didn't mention Obama's call to the radio show about Annenberg and his links to Republicans. McCain created this Frankenstein and the media helped.

Okay, these Troglodytes are getting shrill and scary. They listen to Palindrone Twit and, for some strange reason, believe the nonsense she's vomiting at these rallies. She's got these idiots convinced that Obama's a Muslim terrorist. I hope the Secret Service is paying attention.

Nerzog, if you haven't already, read Frank Rich's column in Sunday's TIMES. More importantly, read the "comments". They will curl your hair! The anti-Obama gang is truly scary! The vitriol! The HATRED!

Maddog, I checked out Rich's column, pretty good (except for the headline, which many others suggested changing)
My favorite from the comments section was the wingnut concern troll letting everybody know he would now be removing the Obama sign from his yard, due to these latest revelations. "But not because I'm racist, because I'm not!"

McCain and Palin were just in my city (Virginia Beach) within a good bike riding distance. I was surprised that Obama protesters weren't shot!

If you start lieing a lot then you know you were infected. The mickey c. sympathizers were "huffing" from the buses holding tank. It gets them all wound up to believe anything. The wheels are coming off that bus as well.

I'm surprised that no one mentions how Gramps McCaon hangs out with a convicted felon (G. Gordon Liddy), and that Caribou Barbie used to pal around with known secessionists - the AIP.

Yes, but they just hate the U.S. government and the American people. They don't actually hate America. There's a big difference. I think?

And Barry says that Bill Ayres was "just a guy in the neighborhood" to "I thought he was rehabilitated."
He wrote a glowing review of Ayres book which was a radical statement on reducing punishment in the juvenile justice system- no jail for drug dealers, rapists and murderers - because of their youth and innocence.
Funnelled hundreds of millions of dollars to unrepentent terrorist Ayres' causes.
And come to find out- Michelle Obama was friends with Bernadette Dorhn (murderer) BEFORE she married BO!
Too much anti-American, angry hatred coming from the Obama camp.
McCain-Palin 2008
And please don't waste your precious vote writing in for Hillary, Paul, Romney, Barr, Nader.
God bless them all!

Did it hurt when Hannity branded all that garbage on your brain?
Everything you wrote above is a mixture of tiny facts and huge lies. Does it make you proud to be so dishonest?

Now bw nice, Moonbat. It probably hurt Barracuda enough to come up with the exact same nickname as Palin.
I'm not much of a fisherman anymore, but if I remember right, barracudas have small brains, big mouths, and they stink.

At the risk of repeating myself.... Critical thinking is not their friend.
These goombas have absolutely bathed in the Koolaid. This is worse than their anti-Clinton hysteria.

At what point did Barry say that?
Options beyond jail time have done good things to juvenile offenders. Jail time in these cases tends to just produce better offenders, and long term criminal behavior.
I'd love here your details on what money went where and how Obama did it.
James B Fowler is a name and history you might look into. John McAngery did some things for this man, now on trial for murder.
Can't bring any Anti-American statements by Obama to mind, bring a few to my attention. Heard a few hate e-mails on Stefenie Miller's show this morning. I don't think we can match the wingnuts for hate, show me different.

Please find the clip of Obama saying "just a guy in the neighborhood." You will discover that he said, "This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who's a professor of English in Chicago who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He's not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis. And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense."
That is not the same as "just a guy in the neighborhood."
Obama did not write a review of "Ayres book," or even write a review of Ayers's book. He described Ayers's book to a reporter as “A searing and timely account of the juvenile court system, and the courageous individuals who rescue hope from despair.”
As for "Funnelled hundreds of millions..." please substantiate. Provide us some documentation. I can't find anything about that but other crazies who make the claim with no documentation. Same for "Come to find out..." Please enlighten us!

If you want to talk angry hatred just take a look at all the race baiting coming from McCain's KKK rallies. Republicans may want to consider a write in candidate because right now all they've got is two race baiters with no plan and a lot of finger pointing.

Not like those "tolerant, Great Americans" who stand in line for the McCain/Palin Bund rallies.

Every single one of your concerns has already been debunked. You missed with every salvo. You'd think with so many points, at least one might stick. But no.
Do some research next time and you might not come off sounding stupid.

If McCain cared for America,he could not stoop to the levels shamelessness, that he has. McCain loves McCain.Through all this the majority of Americans, now know what a low-life man he really is.The people know the truth regarding his pow stint, the b.s.pertaining to his maverick reputation, what he has voted for,and what he has voted against, the lobbyest he's recieved money from, and the ones who have worked on his campaign. There's not to much we don't know about him, much of which most likely would not been exposed, had he not gotten so rediculous with the lies, and swiftboating generated by their determination to win the White House at ANY cost. Had they accomplished this,America would sink to even a lower level of a,once proud USA...much lower than George Bush has already brought us
