A number of years ago this would have looked to me like a desirable thing.  I worried after the GOP took Congress if they in fact would have a 'permanent majority'.

But not anymore.  The key reason has been what I see as the gradual and continuing awakening of the non-Southern real American as to the consequences of the realignment of the formerly rebellious states to the GOP.  The Republican Yankees are more and more seeing their place as now being with the Democratic Party.  This is the counter realignment which I wondered would happen.

This is a process which will take some time to complete, but I think it 's full eventuality is all but a certainty.  The economic repercussions of 14 years of GOP misrule now coming to light in earnest during a Republican presidency will hasten it.  It will continue regardless, but proof positive would be the election of a non-White to the Presidency.

Corsi sure is making the rounds, heard pretty much the exact same thing on the Phil Valentine show (it absolutely amazes me the things that are taken as fact on this show). You would think someone who says his claims are true and can't be refuted would have something better to back them up with than "from what I hear in Kenya", especially if he wants to call himself a journalist (an idea that absolutely repulses me).

lol, first thing i thought was "hey, isn't kenya another country?" so, um, "dr." corsi, the, um, US Constitution doesn't actually apply there. there used to be a time when poor folks like "dr." corsi were committed, for the safety of themselves and the rest of us. nowadays, they just go on FOX "News". i noticed he said he'd penned a 50 page rebuttal, to the obama campaign's 40 page list of errors, mistakes and just plain lies in his book. has anyone actually seen this "50 page rebuttal"? or, like so many things in his life, does it exist only in his fevered imagination?

Corsi has reason to fear.  If anyone merits being sued for libel, he does.  Frankly, the Kenyans treated him with greater curtesy than Corsi has ever treated the sujbects of his vile attacks.
