On Fox News, Hannity hosted Andy Martin -- who has called judge a "crooked, slimy Jew," accused African-Americans in public office of corruption -- in Obama smear-fest
Summary: On Fox News' Hannity's America, Sean Hannity hosted Andy Martin -- identified by Hannity as an "Internet journalist" -- who made what Hannity called "the explosive claim that [Sen. Barack] Obama's role as a community organizer was a political staging ground perpetuated by the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers." At no point during the segment did Hannity note Martin's history of smears against Obama or Martin's history of anti-Semitic and racially charged comments.

The Troglodytes are terrified, and that makes them dangerous. I fear what they may try in the next few weeks.

Oh, I have no doubt that they'll sink way lower than that. We've heard rallys over the past couple days where Palin/McCain have managed to whip up their crowds into xenophobic frenzies. Don't expect them to tone it down at all, especially if the polls start going even more south for them.
This Hannity video is only the foundation of much more pointed accusations to come.

Unbelievable... And people wonder why the ignorant, knuckledragging Republican rank and file so despise Barack Obama? There are apparently no journalistic standards whatsoever over at FOX.

"There are apparently no journalistic standards whatsoever over at FOX"
How can they have "journalistic standards" when they have no journalists? They have no standards, period.

Couldn't say. To paraphrase that old Star Trek line, "Dammit, Neon - I'm a writer - not a mental health expert." :-)

This was the lowest and slimiest piece of "journalism" I have ever seen. Many things are disturbing about this hit piece but I want to point out one in particular that caught my eye as I hit replay on my DVR. Right before a segment that tries to link Obama with the PLO, a piece of video is cut in that shows Obama entering on a stage with several other people and he raises his arm to wave to the crowd, then raises the other arm to wave. What caught my eye was that they sped up the on stage entry in a manner reminiscent of old WWII film clips of the Nazis. The effect was underscored by the ominous sound over, again, very similar to old documentaries of the Nazi's. I observed that this clip was "out of context", that is, none of the folks they were discussing appeared in the clip and it was inserted only for effect. The sped up footage of Obama walking on stage, his raised arm & hand, the ominous music (there were even two big brawny guys in brown t-shirts near the stage), it seems obvious this was done intentionally and was an attempt at subliminal propaganda attempting to link Obama with Nazi facists. The entire program was outrageous & offensive but this piece was particularly so, because of its subterfuge. The fact that 28 million dvds on the topic of so called "Islamo fascism" have recently been distributed, to electoral swing states, by a group that is essentially anonymous I think is very disturbing and probably not coincidental given Palins recent comments.

I know this guy Anthony. I was student at Illinois when he was a law student there. I worked on the college newspaper 35 years ago. He was fledging nutcase at that time and he has perfected his art. I never thought back then that I would see him on the TV. He poisoned everything he touched with his profound lack of ethics. He was the biggest nutcase on the campus. His surname became synonomous with trouble and he had to change it. Back then I could not write this this without getting sued.

The vexatious litigant and anti-semitic 'politician': Anthony 'Andy' Martin.

It's appalling that someone who has never been elected to any office (and could never be elected to any officed) would be identified as a "politician" by Wikipedia. After dozens of failed attempts to get elected to anything, he does not deserve that title.

I used to work in the briadcasting biz in the Boston area and I remember when this whacko bought the Country station in the rrea. I knew guys who worked there and they all bailed ship shortly afterwards. He eventually dumped WDLW for a loss.
Good thing I never tried to get a gig there...even though I used a "air name," he;d have seen my REAL name and I'd have been screwed...not that'd ever work at a country station anyway...

A quick search of Wikipedia showed this piece-of-filth Martin to be "a notoriously vexatious and vindictive litigator who has long abused the American legal system." The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals declared that in 1993. [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Martin_(U.S._politician) ] And following that statement we read: "Most recently, a libel and invasion of privacy suit against Media Matters and its founder, David Brock, was dismissed with prejudice because Martin had violated the terms of the injunction."
¶It is truly unfortunate as well that both Martin & Hannity have still have not been truly unmasked, to finally evince the fetid pultrusions they seem to share...ilk of one mind; a sordid brain. The same holds true for Fuxed-up News and their despicably un-American manner & ways.

So, let me get this straight. Andy Martin is deemed to be too sleazy to be a lawyer, yet he is Hannity's expert witness.

Actually, this post is missing my favorite Andy Martin quote: "I am able to understand how the Holocaust took place, and with every passing day feel less and less sorry that it did, when Jew survivors are operating as a wolf pack to steal my property."

The accusations are still running because Hannity and his ilk are intellectually dishonest enough to keep promoting them because they boost ratings among those who are too stupid or too willfully ignorant to recognise them for what they are.

You liberals certainly have a way of spinning things. First of all Sean Hannity is not subject to the standards of objective journalism, he has never made any effort to conceal his bias, that is his job. Secondly, this Andy Martin (nut) had information or commentary which was pertinant to the point that Hannity was trying to bring across.
It seems to me the problem of bias lies in the so called news journalist of CNN and the big 3, chill bumps and wettin' their pants like adolescent girls in the front row of a Beatles concert 1964. Those guys are blatantly biased, and in the guise of journalism.
If any of the major news correspondants had any desire for truthful journalism, which is what the news should be, they would be demanding some answers from Mr. Obama. Answers to questions such as, why would you ever have associations with the likes of Bill Ayers?, who is not just a foolish loud mouth, like Martin, but an individual who actually conspired to and carried out terroristic actions against against the people, the government and the defenders of the United States.
Mr. Obama why did you remain in rev. Wrights congregation?, you're a very intelligent person I'm sure early in your decision making process to become a member of this church you familiarized yourself with exactly what ideals "Liberation Theology" holds as truth, and what your pastor stood for. That tyrant probably negated a large percentage of the progress that MLK worked so hard for.
And Farrakhan, you know any up and coming, brilliant young radical, such as Mr. Obama living just down the street from such a "Black Icon" as Farrakhan, would have to get some elbow rubbing in on that. Want to talk about an "anti-semite"?
Just face it, Obama is inexperianced, unqualified and dangerous. Someone needs to point this out, Hannity does a good job of it, it is his job, and the TV ratings reflect it... That is his job!!!

Actually, Barack has already put to bed all of these debunked and baseless accusations long ago. It's only the Cons that are pretending that he hasn't.
Smearing is the only arrow left in the Con quiver. Unfortunately for them, it's a broken one. Barack will not be swift-boated like Kerry. It's just not going to happen.

"Moderately-severe character defect manifested by well documented ideation with a paranoid flavor and a grandiose character." Sounds more like Sean's character. By the way, Martin is sending investigators to Honolulu to investigate Obama, but he won't find anything. Sean is an embarrassment to News Corporation and hopefully the bosses will eliminate him from the payroll permanently.

Post debate on Hannity, an Obama campaign official brought this up when Hannity started screeching about Ayers. He asked Sean if he was an anti semite because he associated with Martin. The ensuing four or five minutes was a clinical demonstration as to how you defeat a bully, by trouncing them with their own tactics.

Sarah Palin's husband belonged to the Alaskan Indepence Party who's founder said, "The fires of Hell are glaciers compared to my hate for the American Government." 4 and "I'm an Alaskan, not an American. I've got no use for America or her damned institutions." 5
So by association, Sarah Palin supported the secession of Alaska from the union because she supported her husband. Palin is less qualified than Obama and since McCain picked her, that makes him look even worse.
Obama's relationship to Ayers was through a committee that had republicans on it as well....stop grasping for straws. Hannity wouldn't know a news story if it crawled up his leg and bit him in the ass.
