Savage repeated false attack on Rep. Frank, smeared Biden's son
Summary: Michael Savage again falsely claimed that Rep. Barney Frank "ran a house of ill-repute for male prostitutes out of his apartment in Washington." In fact, the House ethics committee determined in 1990 that Frank "did not have either prior or concomitant knowledge of prostitution activities involving third parties alleged to have taken place in his apartment." Also, after noting that Beau Biden, son of Sen. Joe Biden, would be serving in Iraq as a prosecutor in the National Guard, Savage said, "[T]hey're going to see if they can burn any of the military men over there, and they'll use Biden's son to see if they can put them in jail. ... What would you expect from a Democrat going to Iraq?"

You read this correctly. Michael Savage hates the U.S. troops if they have any affiliation to causes that he doesn't support, such as the Democratic party.
It's kind of like Rush's 'phony soldiers' comment, but even more inclusive.
With patriots like these among our ranks, who needs Muslim terrorists?

Some of us Americans, judge soldiers by what their particular job is in the military and on their political beliefs.
In the past elections we've even had scum from the right questioned someone's patriotism and combat injuries because he lost two legs and one arm when he took the brunt of the explosion from a grenade that was dropped accidently by an American. I think they were saying that thowing himself on it to protect his fellow soldiers wasn't the same as someone who threw himself on a grenade thrown by an enemy.
We're a pretty f_cked up people over here sometimes. Some can twist any situation around to denigrate someone else's patriotism or heroism.
Many of these same people themselves were hiding in their dorm rooms or sought deferments to prevent their own participation in the events that defined their generation.

Savage would probably flip his wig if he knew that the majority of donations going to a presidential campaign this year from the military are indeed going, yes, Barack Obama.
Again, Savage is just another republican who praises the troops over and over again, until they disagree with him on something. Same for Rush, and the others. We've seen this time and again. And the thing is, they don't attack what idea, or what ideology that they talk about. No. They attack their service to their country. Which for Biden's son, is really not in question.

"Beau Biden -- a captain in the National Guard and Delaware's attorney general -- will be a trial lawyer [sic] in the 261st Signal Brigade." So in other words, they're going to see if they can burn any of the military men over there, and they'll use Biden's son to see if they can put them in jail. Wonderful. Terrific. What would you expect from a Democrat going to Iraq?
I think that would be called "accountability". Apparently it's unpatriotic to hold our troops up to legal standards of behavior.

Does this moron think there are no Democrats in Iraq? In the waning days of this disastrous administration, lots more of our troops are Democrats. Does this make their service any less valuable? I can't imagine that Savage even believes his own vitriol anymore, if he ever did.

Michael Savage flashing his Westboro Bastard Church membership card again, attacking Beau Biden for serving America in Iraq. Hmm, anyone know if his son Russell "Goldencloud" Savage (aka Mr Rockstar Energy Drink) served in Iraq yet?

Left you have to understand the only people in the military are repubs since they are so much more patriotic than us lowly dems. You have only to look at the lists available on the internet to see we lowly dems never serve at all.

My thoughts exactly! Where is Weiner's kid to defend the country? Peddling drinks laced with stimulants (an addictive one at that) and probably DONATING A LOT OF THE PROCEEDS TO HIS DADDY'S SHOW. Has anyone ever wondered if the Savage Nation is to some extent, self funded? Because, as we have all wondered, what businesses would support hate radio??
And soldiers DO committ crimes and need to be prosecuted, and defended. Many of these types of crimes are committed agains other soldiers, and thus, we are back to the beginning of supporting the troops.

So now are you saying because Savage is on the radio and you hate him that his son has to go serve simply because of who his father is. What if your father was a murderer....should we then say that you are guilty and should be thrown in jail because of his crimes as well......and when did it become a crime for someone to make a living in the US and be successfull...You should be happy he makes a good living because when Obama is President he'll take his money and redistribute it....now that couldn't happen if he was in the Military:)

I like the passion but let's not fall into the natural psychological tendency of thinking about them as they think about us. We ('liberals' to them or non-right wingers) are like a foreign non-American faction which has established a beachhead on their shores. They are the real Americans in their minds and as such have the moral right to expel us. We stay at their discretion.
I think it's imperative to be aware of their attitude but the way to win isn't always to fight fire with fire. In this case we can douse the fire by being smarter politically. Our Democratic Party forbearers did very well until relatively recently with much worse demographics. And by smarter, I don't mean just about stuff you can learn from a book.

That would be a great social experiment. Being a conservative, I would LOVE to see what would happen to America over a 2 term obama presidency with absolutely no opposition to the progressive movement. Let's see...first, the population of natural born Americans would drop sharply due to uncontolled abortion on demand. The military would be pulled out of every theater in the world, defunded, and mainly turned into a massive "peace corps," granted there are enough progressives in the military that would get to stay in America for this little experiment...so there won't be too many. Homosexuality would run rampant (along with STDs that come with the multiple-partner/free sex lifestyle associated with it). Taxes would skyrocket in order to fund entitlement programs for everyone. The term "illegal alien" will no longer exist because it isnt nice to classify people like that. Everyone will be given the rights of a citizen, regardless of how they got here, since everyone is a member of the "human race." Healthcare will be socialized, quality will go down, and wait time to see a doctor will increase exponentially. No handguns or assault weapons will be available for purchase, and you will only get to keep a long gun if you can prove it is being used for hunting by registering your game with the local authorities. GLOBAL WARMING will CONTINUE despite extreme cuts in carbon emissions, since it is a natural process of our complex earth and solar system. Religion will take a back seat in society. Radical muslims will see this crippled and weakened society, and launch a massive movement to take over progressive America, and turn it into a religious caliphate. At this point, obama's 8 years will be up, and we conservatives would either get to point and laugh, or come back and work on cleaning up the mess.
If you have the time, I'd love to hear what exactly you think would be so great about a country will no contrasting opinions, and only progressive policy.

"first, the population of natural born Americans would drop sharply due to uncontolled abortion on demand."
More likely it would be kept in check by sex education and contraception, which would lower the abortion rate at the same time.
"The military would be pulled out of every theater in the world, defunded, and mainly turned into a massive "peace corps," granted there are enough progressives in the military that would get to stay in America for this little experiment...so there won't be too many."
Aren't the troops favoring Obama, considering he got about six times as much in contributions from them than McCain? Either Obama isn't that liberal, or the troops are. Either way it doesn't jibe with your sentiments.
"Homosexuality would run rampant (along with STDs that come with the multiple-partner/free sex lifestyle associated with it)."
Repressed homosexuals would not be repressed any longer, right. People who are naturally attracted to the opposite sex would still act accordingly.
"Taxes would skyrocket in order to fund entitlement programs for everyone."
And? Rich liberals pay their share so that everyone gets health care, which makes businesses more effective and profitable.
"The term "illegal alien" will no longer exist because it isnt nice to classify people like that."
But would companies still be hiring illegal aliens? If not, that would cut down on the number of them dramatically, so labels would be a minor concern.
"Everyone will be given the rights of a citizen, regardless of how they got here, since everyone is a member of the "human race.""
What is that based on?
"Healthcare will be socialized, quality will go down, and wait time to see a doctor will increase exponentially."
I'm sure my wife's yearly nuclear stress test being covered is not as important to her as wait time. It's only five grand that has to come out of my pocket because of a "pre-existing condition". As for quality, what are you talking about? How many countries rank ahead of us in quality of healthcare now? It's not like we're leading the pack.
"No handguns or assault weapons will be available for purchase, and you will only get to keep a long gun if you can prove it is being used for hunting by registering your game with the local authorities."
There would still be too many guns to take away from people, and I've never heard of anyone suggesting people would have to "prove" a rifle was actually used for hunting in order to own the gun. So if someone was a terrible hunter, the feds would show up at his house and take his rifle? Right.
"GLOBAL WARMING will CONTINUE despite extreme cuts in carbon emissions, since it is a natural process of our complex earth and solar system."
Not according to scientists, but then science must have a liberal bias.
"Religion will take a back seat in society."
Religion is a personal matter already. Is that really as far as you are going with that? You're not going to claim that religion will be banned, or people will be shot for trying to go to church or something? Come on, you were on a roll there.
"Radical muslims will see this crippled and weakened society, and launch a massive movement to take over progressive America, and turn it into a religious caliphate."
How do you picture "taking over" America this way? If you're talking through the system, nobody's going to vote for them. If you're talking about terrorism, that serves no purpose in regime change. We'd still have the same government. What exactly are you talking about?
It would really be wiser to address the post instead of going on a strawman-building bonanza. Right-wingers need to clean house, but it's clearly wrong to suggest they're "degenerates" in general. Going off on a knee-jerk rant about the perils of liberalism doesn't exactly bolster the notion that right-wingers are level-headed and respectable people.

While I've been off of active duty since shortly after Vietnam ended it is my experience that it is the military, not the troops who cut the orders that dictate where the troops serve.
The assignments given to Biden and Palin were determined by the needs of the service.

So many left leaning individuals are quick to point out when a christian republican does something hypocritical. The first extreme example that comes to mind is the Larry Craig foot tapping scandal. Now, when someone on the right points out how Frank exploits the Jewish religion, when he is not really involved with it, all I hear is how "hateful" Savage is. Pathetic. When the left was taking shots at Larry Craig, I said yeah...he deserves it, period. Apparently the left cannot stand up and recognize the fact that they have a hypocrite in their ranks.
