Minneapolis radio host Baker: "I don't think homeless people should vote"; "I'm not that excited about women voting"

Summary: On his radio show, Chris Baker said, "I don't think homeless people should vote. Frankly. In fact, I have to be very honest. I'm not that excited about women voting, to be honest." Baker later said: "But that's just me. I'm a pig, and that's fine. All right? And we'll see that, I'm sure, on a lame-ass website very soon. But I don't think hobos ought to vote at all. They're nuts. And I think that there needs to be a little more care in who votes."

Wow what a moron, bigot and hater.

Posted by LarryScan in reply to JLyons

No kidding.

Posted by snoopy in reply to LarryScan

I'm surprised he didn't say minorities, or suggest bringing back a poll tax.

While I'm glad MMfA is mentioning this..... is this really mis-information as opposed to a sick rightwing Rush wanna-be being a typical conservative loser?

I'm not arguing that it does not have merit... it most definitely does....

My point is: If he said this in response to a potential law and claimed that this was the end result when the opposite was true.... that would be mis-information... what he said was a pathetically disgusting opinion and is just another example of the need to repeal the Telecommunication Act of 1996 and a potential return of the Fairness Doctrine!

I'm not that excited about conservatives voting...

This guy makes Quinn and Radical Rosie look like Thom Hartmann. His ratings, along with the intelligence of his listeners/advertisers must be very low. But, God Bless America that this bozo can make a living by being a jerk

I see Baker is getting worse and worse since his ass got fired from WIOD in Miami. Back then he'd have on-air fantasies about a female reporter for the local Fox affiliate. He's beyond a pig now...

Posted by DAWUSS

Tell me this was taken out of context... It's the only way I could explain that

Posted by LarryScan in reply to DAWUSS

It was not taken out of context , this guy is insane

BAKER: "In fact, I have to be very honest. I'm not that excited about women..."

That was taken out of context, but probably pretty accurate.

Posted by LarryScan in reply to Col. Harlan Sanders

I can not believe a mainstream radio network would have this guy on.

Posted by snoopy in reply to LarryScan

Apparently he's not the only one saying it. Here's something from Faux snewz where they are implying the same thing.

Posted by wookie in reply to snoopy

At the rate we're going that might eliminate all of us.

Posted by DOMICH6857

I swear is feels like he said this just to get posted on MMFA. You know what they say, there is no such thing as bad publiity

Posted by robotchubby in reply to DOMICH6857

I had the same thought.  You can almost hear a desperate, whispered "please!' after "And we'll see that, I'm sure, on a lame-ass website very soon."

I'm starting to think this guy might be Ann Coulter out of drag.

"Drunk ass hobos's"

It seems that the right may have finally found someone to replace the eloquent William F. Buckley Jr.

Baker is allowed to vote. That sets the bar pretty low.

Posted by Kyle_Broflovski

I don't think scary shaved-head pedophile-looking old white men should be allowed to vote. That's just my opinion, though.

Posted by Col. Harlan Sanders in reply to Kyle_Broflovski

Kyle, is 46 "old"? If so, that's my demographic.

Posted by worrierking in reply to Col. Harlan Sanders

You're still a kid colonel.

I don't even consider myself old. Even though I was born during the Truman administration.

When I think of old people, i usually think it means people born during or before the Rutherford B. Hayes presidency.

Like John McCain.

Posted by Col. Harlan Sanders in reply to worrierking

Whew! so I'm a scary shaved-head pedophile-looking kid, and I can still vote.

I'm trying to register some ass-hobos, but only if they're in a 12 step program. No drunk ass-hobos voting on my watch!

Posted by juliajayne in reply to Col. Harlan Sanders

Colonel, so we can add drunk ass hobos to the list of those that you hate? :-) At what point does all that hate against your fellow man and your fellow broads begin to eat away your soul? Do you have a soul left?

Posted by Col. Harlan Sanders in reply to juliajayne

Tell ya what, ass-hobo. Why don't you "dry out" for a few hours, then we can talk about my soul. Or are you saying I have no soul because I'm white?

I've already called one co-worker an "ass-hobo" today. I like it.

Posted by juliajayne in reply to Col. Harlan Sanders

Well, baby, I'm white and I have no damn soul. Can't dance worth a damn either. :-) But I like being called an ass-hobo. Sounds kinda elitist chic when you're sloshed. Or kinda sexy if you're horny. :-0)

Okay, somebody flag me before I go south with my mouth any more.

Posted by jeter2 in reply to juliajayne

Hey ass-hobo what's up?

No soul? Good to know.

Posted by juliajayne in reply to jeter2

I am a big time sinner. so no soul works for me. :-0)What's your damn excuse? If you were voting for McCain instead of Obama, I'd say you shouldn't be allowed to vote either. But I know you're now atoning for your past sins of voting (twice) for THE worst president in history, so I'll cut you a break. :-)

Redemption is still within your reach, my friend.

He sounds like a Glenn Beck wannabe..

Posted by nerzog in reply to spintronic

All of these local Talk Radio Troglodytes are Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh wannabees.  They figure that if they repeat the talking points slavishly enough, they, too, will be rewarded with a multi-million-dollar nationally syndicated show.  If we're lucky, the Karl Rove Talk Radio Propaganda octopus will eventually collapse from the weight of its own irrelevance.

VA estimates that 200,000 of the homeless on any given night are veterans.

Why does Baker hate the troops?

Posted by pithaughn

Face it, this is part of the thousand points of darkness. This type of talk, validates a person who is thinking about committing a vote fraud or manipulation. Imagine a weak minded police man, already hates the homeless because they barf and poop in his patrol car, would like to intimidate a few from making it the voting booth. Now he hears this nonsense validated by an official serious person talking on the radio or TV.

Posted by mary59

It's embarrassing that we have radio talkers like this on our airwaves.

Posted by wookie

I'm not that excited about people who want to have a beer with the president or coffee with the hockey mom voting.

Posted by manndan

MMFA, please quit running stories about this goofball or he'll go national.  I remember him from when he was on in Houston.  I didn't need to have you reminding me that he is still on the air somewhere.

Posted by cpinva

um, who the heck is chris baker? why should anyone care what he thinks (and i use the term in its loosest sense)? i just read his wikopedia entry. for a guy who's supposedly such a hot commodity, no one seems to know who he is. go figure.

just another pathetic am twit, desperately trying to make something out of the nothing intellect he displays. idiot can't even provide a half-way intelligent sounding response to a reasonable question.
