ABC's Snow quoted Palin attacking Obama over troop-funding vote but left out key facts about McCain's voting record

Summary: ABC News correspondent Kate Snow uncritically quoted Gov. Sarah Palin's claim that Sen. Barack Obama voted for "[c]utting off funding for our troops while in a war zone." Well, golly gee willikers Col. Her entire performance was "sugary". I fear my wife may have slipped into a diabetic coma just from watching. And, I'm sorry, did she actually wink at one point or was i just hallucinating from my excessive sucrose buzz?

She winked twice as I remember.  How can the Republicans not be embarrassed by this airhead?  I kept waiting for her to lapse into that Tina Fey "adorable" bit.  I actually laughed out loud a couple of times, when she laid on that golly gee willickers hocky mom schtick.

Col. wasn't she sweet,my wife just eats this up. It doesn't matter that she's a political airhead, unable to give an intelliget answer because she didn't understand the question,or didn't WANT to answer the question, just turn on the hockymom jive in place of an answer, that will work for a lot people, never mind that she is obviously not qualified to be v.p.,or possibly president. But i must say they did a pretty good job at the McCain bootcamp ranch rehearsal, though some of the memorized lines were beginning to show when she was in a bind. She did better than i expected

I must admit that I was a little disappointed... I sat down with my popcorn hoping to see her crash and burn, but she never did.  She did come across as robotic and well-rehearsed, and her phony hockey mom demeanor was more suited to a beauty pageant than a political debate.

Biden did a good job addressing this last night as Obama did in the first Presidential debate.  The media really needs to pay more attention.
