In article about Dem criticism of Lieberman, CNN.com did not report he broke RNC speech pledge

Summary: A CNN.com article reported that Sen. Joe Lieberman's speech at the Republican National Convention "is a sore point with his Democratic colleagues" because Lieberman "attacked Obama." But the article did not mention that the content of Lieberman's speech violated a pledge he had made not to "spend [his] time attacking Barack Obama" at the convention. The article also reported that Democrats "thought Lieberman had gone over the line when he said Obama had not reached across the aisle to work with Republicans," but not that they cited Obama's bipartisan legislative accomplishments to challenge the veracity of that assertion.

Again this is an example of conservative misinformation which ends up making liberals look worse than they deserve to look. The Democrats aren't simply being vindictive because he spoke at the Republican National Convention, or even pissed off because he attacked Obama. They're pissed because Lieberman broke his pledge.

When they don't mention that Lieberman broke his pledge, it makes him look better than he deserves to look. It also makes the Democrats look worse than they deserve to look, and less willing to accept differences of opinion. They're pissed because he broke a pledge that he made. There's nothing wrong with the Democrats being pissed that he broke a pledge. A normal group of people is going to be pissed if one of their group breaks a pledge made to the group.

And then later in the news story that goes on to say that a challenge to Obama's partisanship was made, when the news media doesn't then cover the rebuttal of that charge, it again is conservative misinformation that forwards the conservative agenda - it makes the Republican false meme look better than it deserves to look and makes Obama look less like a person who will work across the aisle, a desirable trait.

I'm sorry for going off topic but who is Megan Fox and what is she doing at FOX News? She just gave the best a$$-kickin' to Bill O'Reilly that I've seen in months. She also went after McCain recently. Will someone give this woman a job please. She doesn't belong at FNC, she has some degree of journalistic integrity. Sorry again for going so far off topic, but that was somethin' to witness.

That's great...and funny. Until recently she was the resident FOX babe, or one of them, who spewed right wing babble. Then about a week ago she nailed a McCain surrogate for the dishonesty of McCain's ads. As someone else suggested at the time, maybe she grew a conscience. Perhaps she's trying to break her contract...

"Sen. Barack Obama is a gifted and eloquent young man who I think can do great things for our country in the years ahead, but, my friends, eloquence is no substitute for a record, not in these tough times for America"

This sentence is so BS. why cannot Obama do do great things for this country now? what's it with the tiring 'my friends'? who brought in these tough times?

Lieberman is no American. He is an American tax payer funded lobbyist for Israel.
