Liddy, Pruden repeat debunked claim that Obama's birth certificate is fake
Summary: G. Gordon Liddy asserted on his nationally syndicated radio show: "[W]e still don't have a birth certificate for [Sen. Barack] Obama. There are claims that he was actually born in Kenya." The Washington Times' Wesley Pruden similarly wrote that a "summer-long controversy continues about when and where the senator was actually born" and falsely asserted that "[t]he Obama campaign has been reluctant to produce a birth certificate." In fact, the Obama campaign has released Obama's birth certificate, and even the right-wing website WorldNetDaily has reported that claims about Obama's birth certificate being fraudulent are false.

Are these idiots really that stupid? You have to wonder if they are really that far gone or just saying it to poke ya in the eyes. Childish either way.

Snoopy, unfortunelty folks like Liddy, Limbo and Hannity have a very receptive GOP audience.

Well, Liddy always did behave like a child. It's like he never outgrew his highest, proudest moment in life--being the playground bully in 5th grade.

Jeebus! The "vault copy" of Barack's birth certificate is available for viewing at the County building right here in Chicago for anyone who cares to examine it. Is surprising that none of the scum like Corsi or Liddy or No Quarter will take the time to do so.
This is a ridiculous issue. Barack has had to prove his citizenship dozens of times in his lifetime, including in FBI background checks. He's a United States Senator! Not even the 5 fascists on the US Supreme Court would find in favor of the people who are trying to enjoin the DNC from nominating him or Barack from being sworn in in January after he wins.
I knew it would get ugly with a black man running for President, but I didn't really dream it would take on this kind of insanity. I'd say that you could take any hundred members of the "Christian Right" in this country and trade them straight up for any 100 Iranians or Venzuelans and we'd be a better country for it. The days of Tailgunner Joe McCarthy have returned.
That sleazy little pervert felon G Gordon Liddy doesn't have a lot of room criticizing anyone after the crimes he's committed against his country. Liddy is a traitor, plain and simple.

What does the G. stand for? And where is your birth certificate?
From this point forward, I demand that everyone in America be required to carry around their birth certificate. And also, everyone has a right to dispute the authenticity of anyones certificate and have them imprisoned.
I think the G. was a nickname...for Goofy. His mom gave it to him.
Stupid. This is my first WITH.....this isn't misinformation...this is equal to a Repbulican commandment. Thou shalt be stupid.

In fact, the Corporate Media seem to be there already on matters concerning the exaggerated Iraqi WMD intelligence. They seem to consider it "old news", as if there's nothing more to discuss.

"The Obama campaign has been reluctant to produce a birth certificate. This could be a story with legs, swift long legs to rival those of a Kenyan sprinter. The Clintons are surely trying to help sort this out."
That's the quote that I found most funny. Why? Because first of all, it's wrong. We know for a damn good fact, that Obama was born in Hawaii. And even if he wasn't, he was born of an American citizen, which makes him, an American citizen. End of story. The second part, the Washington Times even screws up the smallest details, such as using the line "Kenyan sprinter...". Kenya is known for their long distance runners, not sprinters. They can't even get the simple things correct.

The concern-trolling by the rightys is getting pretty crazy . I'm checking out what I can on cable and radio, but it's getting really boring hearing their little puppet shows about the Dems latest "crisis".
They should really be doing something about that old guy in the gingham shirt and the baseball cap. He seems disoriented.

"only make me, a Republican till now, far more committed to stand up to their swill."
Great! Will you make an ad for Obama to counter McCains "I was a Democrat but now I support McCain" ad? <G>

Any defenders for these clowns?
I would love to see someone try to present either the case that Obama's birth certificate is fake or the idea that he wasn't born in Hawaii. That would be fun.
Any takers?

Though it seems like typical Republican slime tactics, this one is a little different to me. This starts to reek of right-wing desperation.
You are really flinging things at the wall to see what sticks when you are trying this bull to give their people the idea that somehow Obama will be disqualified.
First off, it won't happen, so why even raise it? You're just raising the already desperate hopes of the little GOP minions who listen to people like G.Gordon Liddy ( who better to advise us on legal matters than a convicted felon ).
Therefore it can only be in hopes of "painting" Obama as somehow "foreign". Don't you think that everyone who can be hooked with this kind of smear has already signed onto to voting against Obama? It's like they are trying to keep the racists "motivated". That can't bode well for their chances.
