Mark Levin last night called the Democrats at the convention freaks at a Communist convention. Of course it's the "Democrat" convention as well. He went after Michelle Obama and explained how she stole her lines from Saul Alinsky, and ranted about Barrack Obama's ties to Alinsky, and radicals. Tonight is was his close friendship with Bill Ayers.

He called Hillary Clinton's supporters "hemorrhoids" and repeatedly called Senator Clinton "Her Thighness".

He called Senator Obama "Barrack Millhouse Obama". or simply "Millhouse". 

I don't know how people on the right can listen to this mindless, juvenile blather. Levin doesn't have the intelligence to do an actual critque of any of the speakers.  Everyone is a stalinist, or commnunist, or freak. Rush wasn't much better than Levin today. Two hours on the road today with right wing radio....yikes.

 

Have they always been like this? Or are they only like this on days I don't listen? (I haven't listened to one broadcast of TMLS, BTW)

 On Limbaugh  today, Obama was the messiah this, and the messiah that....that's really getting old....esp. when he started referring to the Gods of the liberals...reffering to the news that Obama will be speaking Thurs. on a stage with columns resembling a small Greek temple.

What could using Nixon's middle name for Barack possibly mean?  I'm sure Levin thinks he's being oh-so-clever thinking he can bring up the whole "Hussein" thing this way but seriously, what could he possibly find in common between Nixon and Obama?

I wondered about that too....esp. since Levine kept referring to Obama as just Millhouse as well.....like he wanted to be sure his listeners heard his change of Obama's middle name.

I'm guessing that linking Obama to Nixon will makes listeners think of liar, criminal actions and a disgraced presidency. Nothing remotely related to Obama, but In Levine's itty bitty mind, I suppose he thinks he's planting another mutant seed of distrust, or a warning of things to come, in the minds of his audience. 

Maybe he's been tutored by Randi Rhodes and air america:

The rest of the story, of course, of which Wesley has no clue, is that Rhodes' contract had expired, and AA was looking for an excuse to get rid of her because she wasn't deferential enough to the station's new owners. Rhodes went directly to Nova-M, where she is today.

If MMfA posters were fired based upon the number of lies they post, Wesley would be nowhere in sight. 

Also, it's worth noting, she did not make those statements while on the air or at a function at which she was representing Air America Radio.  Her statements were on stage at a comedy club, meant to be just for those she was addressing in the room.

It may have been naive of her to not consider that someone might have been recording her, it clearly makes her statements less significant than those made on the air as host of a radio program.
