ABC's Tapper cited immigration as example of McCain breaking with GOP, despite previously noting McCain's reversal

Summary: On ABC's World News, Jake Tapper cited immigration reform as an example of when "[Sen. John] McCain has broken with his party on controversial issues," omitting the fact, as Tapper himself has previously noted, that McCain said during a Republican presidential debate that he would no longer vote for the comprehensive reform bill he co-sponsored if it came to a vote on the Senate floor.

John McSame was for immigration before his base told him he was against it. Not surprised though, anyone who broke as quickly as songbird John did can't be expected to have much of a backbone.

You mean someone in the media actually noticed that he'd changed a position.

It would probably be to much to ask that the reasons for the change were examined? Given the reporter's flip flop it probably would be.

The man voted against the immigration bill he introduced, and was named for him because of Republican uproar, and somebody wants to brag about his principles?

The xenophobes are used to protect the rich business, and corporate criminals that lure illegals to our nation. ICE is an abomination to America's Honor, if we were real Patriots we would call our government out for this, and start having perp walks on the TV with suits in those handcuffs, instead of poor working folks.
