Next thing you know, he'll be describing his presidency as Morning in America.

Great point, Kernel.Since it's just you & me here, I'll add that you're very insightful. Obama has clearly stated that it's not about him, he's just a  symbol.

Actually, quite the opposite of arrogance, he's humbly made it clear that, although he is the man running for office, his vision is about something much greater than himself. Self-deprecating, yet confident. The exact opposit of the leadership we've survived for the past 8 years.

I can't improve on either of the previous posts, Well done.

A symbol that represents Obama for President....but its not about him.  LOL.  Depends on what the definition of the word "is" is.

Yes, Science101, I agree with you.

After all, St. John McCain would never do something so arrogant as declare himself a candidate for President of the United States.  That would just be the pinnacle of hubris, which is something only Obama can have.

This was such a lonely thread, I had to try to stir something up by myself on Friday night. I'm glad that Kyle and EW stopped in with some funny posts, and Science added some idiocy for contrast.

From each, according to their ability, seems to be how the Free Market works.
