Hannity asserted Clinton health-care proposal is "exactly what she was proposing in '93"
Summary: Sean Hannity claimed that Sen. Hillary Clinton's new health-care plan is "basically repackaging her old proposal with new rhetoric ... in the hopes that we'll be dumb and we'll buy the new rhetoric," and that "in the end, it's going to be exactly what she was proposing in '93." Hannity suggested that a September 17 New York Times article reported that Clinton is falsely claiming that her new plan is different from the plan she proposed in 1993. In fact, the article reported that "[a] variety of health policy analysts ... said the change between Clinton 1 and Clinton 2 was striking."

In Hannity's tiny little mind (that which is incapable of thinking beyond the booo, socialized medicine bogeyman) Clinton's '93 ideas and today's probably are the same.
Actually looking at both plans and realizing the yes, "striking" differences is far too much trouble for the bullyboy.

I have, a few times, wondered what makes InSanity believe that he is anything but a useless excuse for an American, let alone human being.
Trying to watch Sean the few times that I have, I have to take a few Tums because of the sour feeling I get every time.
The only thing that one can gather, as it pertains to Sean and those at Fox Noise (and all the other corporate owned media) is that as a group, they have collectively given up their rights to independant thought and it clearly shows every time any of them open their mouths!
Makes one wonder about the future of our country?

I think he's like Coulter. He's in it strictly for the money and fame, and he's found a thoroughbred to ride straight to the bank, that being fear and hatred of anyone left-wing.
I base this on his "interview" with Michael Moore at the RNC in New York. He actually seemed thoughtful, humorous, and believe it or not, SANE!
But that little red tv light goes on and he's back in character.

This single issue of Mrs. Clinton's plan to reform Health Care, is a study in watching how the many hacks and whores of the "media" struggle to find the words.
They come up short, and find nothing but empty nonsense.
the health-care Titanic
repackaging
anti-bureaucratic, anti-big-government
How many people are insured for a visit to the Doctor or Clinic or Hospital, by that kind of noisy rhetoric?
Any?
Who feels better about the prospect of visiting a Hospital etc., and not being personally bankrupted by the experience... who feels better about these things, after listening to the whore hannity?
I think Mrs. Clinton means us all to be much better off, and in much better health, than does the whore hannity, with his rhetoric.

Hannity's motivation is to keep his ratings up by being outragious and helping to keep the Republican's in power.
His viewers are those who hang around to watch O'Reilly, who's viewers are old Republicans. His radio show is more of the same--slander Democrats every chance he gets, and ride Rush Limbaugh's coat tails.
The good news is that this sick phenomenon has nearly run it's course. Thank God.

I just heard that his Sunday show will start a new segment this week: "Signs of the Apocolypse." What a ratings whore.

"Signs of the Apocolypse"
I believe it. This guy hannity, and his pal o'reilly, have found their ratings (and their credibilty) to plummet so low, that they're down to the base:
The "Tent Show", and whatever carnival freaks and barkers they can find, to hypnotize in their seats, the few disturbed and lost souls, who attend the "Tent Show".
"Signs of the Apocolypse"
It's about as bottom of the barrel as you can get.
"Signs of the Apocolypse"
What next...
"Next on Fox News channel, an exclusive from hannity and o'reilly:
The Number of the BEAST!
We have it for you!
Stay tuned... and no, it isn't 666 (or even 665)...
We have it for you, the Number of the BEAST!
Stay tuned."

The number of the beast--funny you should mention that. A couple of years ago I posted this here, but it's been a while so it bears repeating.
FOX "News" The "F" is the 6th number in the alphabet, "O" is the 15th--1+5=6, and "X" is the 24th--2+4=6. FOX=666. It's all starting to make sence.
The anti-Christ must be Murdoch, and the four horsement must be O'Reilly, Hannity, Hume, and Gibson. Coincidence? I think not! :-)

Well, Rick, allow me to give you another example of pertinent numerology...
"Sean Hannity" has eleven letters...same as "Dumb A$$hole"

And the number eleven equals Sean Hannity's I.Q.

My favorite is still Ronald (6) Wilson (6) Reagan (6). Not that I'm into numerology or Revelations, but amusing nonetheless.

If she meant us to be better off, why is she trying to force us to buy health insurance from private firms? If she cared, she'd be calling for the extension of Medicare to ALL Americans.
Only Democrat candidate offering a single-payer socialized medicine plan is Kucinich.

What has GW Bush "packaged" for Americans?
To start with, he packaged ... oh, hell. I don't have the time or energy tonight to give the litany of pain, suffering, and damage Bush has caused this nation.
Suffice to say, Bush has packaged America's wealth, world opinion, honor, and root principles, and given it all to shovel wealth into his few "friends' pockets. Yup, the very wealthy are now really filthy nasty wealthy, while the rest of the nation (and far into the future) has been lowered into ruin.
Along the way, he has "packaged" thousands of Americans in flag-draped coffins, and tens of thousands of others are packaged in bandages. And for what? Greenspan says it was for OIL all along, and what the hell, it sure can't have been for anything else.
Bush's worst sin is abandoning the "war on terror" in order to hang on to Iraq and its oil. We have been betrayed, and sold out, and constantly lied to. If there is any silver lining, it's that Bush has destroyed the GOP.

I agree about the "Oil" part, but, don't forget the billions being pocketed by Cheney and Halliburton. Either way, rich get richer. And truth is, poor get poorer and poorer, and poorer.

Isn't it interesting that Alan Greenspan has publicly stated that the Iraq War is all about oil, and the MSM has hardly even noticed? I have yet to hear even a peep about it on any major broadcast. Yet, they can cover O.J. extensively, up to repeating the "slow motion chase" visual by following his lawyer's car as he left the jailhouse. Amazing.

Sean must maintain his ratings in Radioland or lose his millions of listeners. He will lie and cheat to boost his ratings.
This aging media hack will sink at Fox News, right along side George Bush.

The only resemblance between the '93 plan and the '07 plan is the name Hillary Clinton. We all know that. Sean Hannity knows that. But in his feeble attempt to hold onto his audience of brain-dead conservatives, he has to lie yet again.
Hannity claims to be a Catholic. I wonder how long he spends in confession each Saturday to confess all the lies he tells on radio and TV.

I also remember Newt Gringrich and his collection of political thugs were on a full court press to destroy anything Clinton, for they did not think of doing this . The Clintons were well aware of the fact there was a crisis in healthcare coming up, very much opposite of the current administration oblivious to the fact there is going to be a economic crisis lurking in the near future of this country.

Similar to the auto companies who have had about 35 years start thinking about planning to consider thinking about manufacturing fuel efficient cars (According to a recent Wall Street Journal article...the industry just need more time...) Republicans have had about 15 years to come up with something better than "let the free marked reign". No doubt if Mr. Hannity spoke on the subject of Health Care it would include this tired, anachronistic, bleat.
"Free" market mechanism are designed to have losers. This should not be deemed acceptable when it comes to health care reform issues.... Not to mention the absurd notion of competition as applied to health care...hmmm, let's see, I gues I will buy the health care product that covers the heart and kidneys, but excludes the liver, pancreas and irritable bowel syndrome...oh my aching,,,head. Mr. H, get a job.

Sean is a habitual liar. This troubled lad has been lying before he was hired by Fox News in 1996. He lied to get a radio job in Huntsville, Alabama.
Sean has been bought and paid for by the GOP. Everyone behind the scenes knows it.
