NY Times' Nagourney, Fox News' Angle reported on new RNC chair Martinez, ignored Schiavo memo and controversial campaign tactics
Summary: In their reports on Sen. Mel Martinez's decision to take over as chairman of the Republican National Committee, The New York Times' Adam Nagourney and Fox News' Jim Angle made no reference to Martinez's admission that his office authored a controversial memo in the Terri Schiavo case and also did not mention the controversy surrounding Martinez's campaign tactics in 2004.

SAVE DEMOCRACY, VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT!
Ken Mehlman Outed!!! Gay as a Liberace, and he can't play the piano, though he certainly make alot of noise about the Gay Agenda of the Democratic Party.
This man is a creature that has few peers in his self deficating demeanor, and hypocracy, and the quintessential RNC Chairman.
Makes you wonder how they come up with whom would be chairman?? What does that say of Mel??? Cubano Homosexual Politician?? not likely, but it would be hilarious!!
I miss the cartoon demension of the Republican Leadership, or not.
Happy Thoughts;
Dan Grady

Seems to be an epidemic
in the GOP-- Maverick aides sending out crazy memos on their own.
Right here in my county we had a local pol sending out letters to people with Hispanic surnames warning them that immigrants couldn't vote, and would be subject to prosecution if they attempted to.
Guess what? It was some renegade aide (Renegaide?), and he knew nothing about it.

No wonder
voters don't trust these guys to run the country. They can't even manage their own aides.

ADAM NAGOURNEY
should be in the same category as Jim Angle and FOX NEWS CHANNEL. He has written several puff pieces about the Republicans before. There's that "liberal" New York Times for you again. The one that broke Whitewater and had Judy Miller putting those false stories about non-existent Weapons of Mass Destruction on the front page.

Blogs
The conservative blogosphere hates the Martinez pick bigtime, they overwhelmingly preferred Michael Steele.

BRUCE.
I thought for sure that Michael S. Steele would be the next National Chairman of the Republican Party. His term as Lieutenant Governor of Maryland ends in January and he'll be unemployed and have a lot of time on his hands then. It might be good for them from a public relations standpoint to have a black person as their National Chairman. Mel Martinez has a day job as a United States Senator and will probably have less time to make television and other appearances as well as fundraise. Although I heard that Michael S. Steele is being considered by the Bush Adminstration as Labor Secretary. I guess Elaine Chao is stepping down soon. Maybe she wants to spend more time with her husband, Republican Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, who is the incoming Minority Leader in the United States Senate. He probably thought he was going to be Majority Leader. What a loser.

Keep The Memory Alive...If Not The Woman!
Terry Schiavo is dead. Her husband AND the liberal agenda have murdered her. Why can't you let it go? Do you need to keep dragging up a dead woman's memory to further your delights? I guess I'm talking to liberals, so the answer would be an emphatic yes. During a previous post (some time ago) I was told to quit bringing up TS because it is old news and no one cares anymore. I see that when she benefits the liberal agenda then "using" her is perfectly fine. Very typical of the liberal mind set.
